Smart Lab Expands IT and Cloud Services to Nepal

May 17, Bangladesh’s leading technology company, Smart Lab has officially launched its IT and cloud solutions services in the Nepalese market, marking a significant step toward strengthening technological collaboration between Bangladesh and Nepal.

As part of the expansion, Smart Lab signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Outreach, one of Nepal’s leading marketing and communications service providers. The agreement was formalized on Saturday at Hotel Himalaya in the presence of representatives from both organizations, including Outreach Founder and Strategic Planning Director Ujaya Shakya and the Smart Lab delegation.

Under the partnership, Smart Lab will provide advanced IT solutions, system integration, and cloud services to clients across Nepal.

Speaking on the occasion, Reyad Hasnain, Founder and CEO of Smart Lab, said the company’s international expansion is helping generate valuable remittances for Bangladesh while contributing to the country’s foreign exchange reserves.

“We are already working with clients in 15 countries, including the USA, Singapore, Switzerland, China, and Nepal. This expansion marks the next step in our global growth,” he said.

Smart Lab specializes in system integration, professional services, IT operations management, software development, and messaging solutions. As an associate company of Smart Voice Limited, it currently serves more than 50 major corporate clients and banking institutions in Bangladesh.

Founded in 2003, Outreach has established itself as a key player in Nepal’s advertising and marketing sector and has earned multiple international recognitions for its communications services.

Following the MoU signing ceremony, Smart Lab representatives also attended the launch event of a book authored by Ujaya Shakya.

Industry stakeholders believe the bilateral collaboration will further strengthen technological ties, business cooperation, and regional connectivity between Bangladesh and Nepal.
