Editor Acharya Honored with Economic Journalism Award 2082

Royal Acharya (Dambar Prasad Acharya), Editor of ktmvoice.com, has been honored with the “Economic Journalism Award–2082” by the Nepal Footwear Manufacturers Association.

The award was presented during a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on Saturday, where the association handed over a certificate of honor along with a cash prize to Editor Acharya.

The Nepal Footwear Manufacturers Association, an umbrella organization of footwear industries in Nepal, conferred the honors during its 12th Annual General Meeting and 6th Convention. On the occasion, Acharya received the Economic Journalism Award, journalist Apsara Gautam was honored with a Journalism Award, and two young entrepreneurs were recognized with the Young Entrepreneur Award.

Actively engaged in economic journalism for over one and a half decades, Acharya currently serves as the Central President of the Economic Media Association Nepal (EMAN) and the Associate Province President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
