Premier International IB Continuum School has secured a remarkable double triumph, winning major inter-school titles in both football and basketball.

The school’s football team was crowned champions of the Nepal Inter-School Sports Association League Football 2026. Premier defeated The British School 2–0 in the semi-final before edging past GEMS School in a dramatic final. The match ended 1–1 in regular time, with Premier winning 5–4 in a penalty shootout. Goalkeeper Rejish Neupane was named Best Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.

The football squad featured captain Shyameer Shrestha, Rejish Neupane, Shyaum Shrestha, Nirvik Thapa, Prabesh Tamang, Drishya Ratna Shakya, Nishad Sitaula, Ishan Gauchan, Rishit Mainali, Tenzing Dawoe Lama, Aryak Karki, Oliver Karki, Aarjal Adhikari, Aarush Karki, Sankalpa Pokharel, Abim Roka Magar, Noah Rai, and Arzu T. Rajbhandari. The team was coached by Suraj Maharjan, Sanjay Shrestha, and Sugat Shrestha.

In basketball, Premier emerged as undefeated champions of the 12th Xavier International U-19 Basketball Tournament. The team delivered dominant performances throughout the competition, defeating Golden Gate College (46–44), Divya College (70–21), and Xavier B (91–18) in the league stage. They went on to beat Times College 53–11 in the quarter-final and Xavier 73–61 in the semi-final.

In the final, Premier secured a convincing 67–43 victory over BKSP to lift the title.

The basketball team included Dawa T. Lama Tamang, Pranaya Man Shrestha, Pratham Shrestha, Jyotshan Joshi, Adamya Maharjan, Ashwin Chalise, Supreme Maharjan, Sayugya Mahat, and Kai Yoshi Prajapati. The team was coached by Sadhish Pradhan, captain of the Nepali National Men’s Basketball Team.

The dual victories mark a significant achievement for Premier, highlighting its growing dominance in inter-school sports.
