Ambassador to Nepal Nguyen Thanh Hai had a courtesy meeting with Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav. Nguyen Thanh Hai , who is also the Vietnamese ambassador to India and Bhutan, came to Nepal on the occasion of an investment conference held in Kathmandu.

Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai mentioned to the Vice President that the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Vietnam is about to be reached and expressed the view that the two countries should cooperate in increasing investment.

Mentioning that Nepal is the birthplace of Buddha, a large number of tourists are coming to Nepal from Vietnam, he expressed the opinion that his country is willing to cooperate in tourism and other fields in the future.

In the meeting, Vice President Ram sahay Prasad Yadav expressed the opinion that Nepal wants to further expand its relations with Vietnam and for this, cooperation should be intensified. In the meeting between the Vice President and the ambassador, the non-paid consul of Vietnam for Nepal Rajesh kaji Shrestha and other representatives participated.
